What unique idea would you have for a start-up of a business?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 08:47 PM - Forum: Start-ups - Replies (3)

So many business ideas have been done so many times that it can often feel like if you were to start a business that had already been done, you would just end up a small fish in a huge ocean and just get lost in the crowd. Having something unique to make you stand out from the crowd would be a good option whether it be a unique idea within your business or just a whole unique business idea.

What unique idea would you have for a start-up that has never been done before or to your knowledge hasn't been done before?

Do you have an idea for a start-up you haven't worked on yet?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 08:44 PM - Forum: Start-ups - No Replies

Many of us have business ideas that we would like to start but haven't been able to. It could be for many reasons and everyone's reason will be different as to why they haven't. Maybe they don't feel it's the right time or maybe they want to see a business venture they already have started progress a little further before they start another one.

Do you have a start-up idea that you have not worked on yet? Are you planning on working on it soon or is it not the right time at the moment?

Did you ever have a start-up that never fully took off?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 08:35 PM - Forum: Start-ups - No Replies

Anyone who has a business idea will start their business with a start-up, this usually gets you started on a business venture that you have and then can pave the way for a more successful business in the future. Unfortunately, for some people, success isn't always the final outcome some though and often, a start-up can land in an unsuccessful one no matter how many times they try to make changes in hopes it will gain traction.

Have you ever had a start-up that unfortunately didn't take off as you hoped? What do you feel went wrong?

Do you still have any outstanding business loans that you need to pay back?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 08:18 PM - Forum: Business Funds and Loans - Replies (1)

Taking out a business loan can help you get your business started and off the ground. When you take out a loan though you have to agree to pay that loan back when you are earning something from your business and a set amount is agreed upon between yourself and the company you took the business loan out with. They usually don't start taking payments out for the loan repayment until your business is off the ground and you are able to make the payments.

Do you still have any outstanding loans that you have to pay back that you took out to start up your business?

Have you ever needed to take out a loan for a business idea you had?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 08:16 PM - Forum: Business Funds and Loans - No Replies

When it comes to starting out a business, some people may already have the funds needed to get started but others will have the idea but not the funds to start. This is where a loan could come into place for you to start your business. Obviously to be able to get a loan you would need a business plan and a plan for the future so that they can see what you plan on doing and if a loan would be beneficial to you.

Have you ever needed to take out a loan for a business that you wanted to start? Did you have any issues taking out the loan or was it fairly straight forward?

What was your last crowdfund set up for?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 08:01 PM - Forum: Business Funds and Loans - Replies (1)

So many people set up crowdfunds for different reasons from wanting help with a business setup to even crowdfunding for charity or to help loved ones with funding to help pay for things like health care or medication.

I haven't ever set up a crowdfund myself even though I have thought about it so many times to help with building up my forum.

What was your last crowdfund set up for?

Is setting up a crowdfund for a general discussion forum a good idea?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 06:04 PM - Forum: Business Funds and Loans - Replies (3)

At the moment I am in the process of working on a general discussion forum that I would like to open up in a few weeks. I am using Xenforo at the moment as my boyfriend has allowed me to use one of his licenses and we do need to renew the license to get the latest updates but at the moment, with funds being so tight, we have been unable to do that. There is also so much I would like to add such as the ability for people to be able to support us and they get perks such as username formatting, no ads, access to a VIP forum, and such but all this will cost money for the addons as well.

Do you feel that a general discussion forum would benefit from a crowdfund if you had a plan of what you wanted to do and you were open an honest with people about what you were going to do with the money you donated?

I would like to open the general discussion forum up, give perks to members who support us and like what we do but also hopefully be able to have the site fund itself eventually to help pay for costs.

  Have you ever used GoFundMe?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 06:00 PM - Forum: Business Funds and Loans - Replies (2)

GoFundMe is another site for crowdfunding. Users can use the platform to crowdfund for a charity or crowdfund for their own personal use to help their business or a start-up they may have. I myself have thought about using GoFundMe to help start up a forum I am working on and getting it ready to launch but I have always been worried about using a site like GoFundMe to help fund a forum.

Have you ever used GoFundMe and what did you use it for? Do you feel it really helped create a GoFundMe campaign to help with a start-up or a business?

What worries did you have before you made any kind of invstment?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 05:57 PM - Forum: Trading (Stocks/Forex/Crypto) - Replies (2)

Most people will have had an interest in investing in the stock market, whether it was just them being curious or whether it was a strong interest they had, doing research is always wise before you make that jump to invest. Of course, when you are researching investing you will always come across things that may worry you and that worry can lead to you putting off making an investment into a company or even the stock market.

What worries did you have before you made any kind of investment? Were there any worries that you feel others may come across when they consider investing that you feel you could give them some advice on?

What has been your biggest gain to date when investing in the stock market?
Posted by: Shortie - 01-25-2023, 05:54 PM - Forum: Trading (Stocks/Forex/Crypto) - Replies (1)

Anyone who invests in anything including the stock market will know that a gain is possible but how much you earn will always be a mystery until it happens. Of course, you should always prepare yourself for a loss as well but getting a gain is what everyone hopes for when they make an investment.

Out of all the times you have made an investment what has been your biggest gain to date? Were you happy with the gain you made?
