What was the first thing you ever saved for?

Do you ever remember the first thing you ever saved for? Maybe it was something you really wanted as a child that you had to save for or something you really wanted when you became an adult. 

I think if I remember rightly, the first thing I saved for when I was a child was a toy that I really wanted, I can't remember for the life of me what toy it was now but I remember being young and saving for something. 

What was the first thing you ever saved for? Did you manage to save for it?

I remember saving up for a PS3. However, by the time I actually had the money to get one they were all sold out at literally every store in my town. So I ended up getting a Xbox 360 Elite. I remember going home and hooking it up to my CRT.
