Have you had to have debt written off?
#1
It's not every day that someone will need to have debt written off. A lot of the time, any loans that you take out are taken out by yourself and you know you can pay them back.

Sometimes though you will find yourself with an issue where you end up with someone using your name to take out a loan and when you find out about it, it is something you want sorted as soon as possible. In some cases, these debts can be written off and they are also reported if they were taken out in your name without your consent.

I myself have had to have two loans written off that were taken out in my name when I was in a mentally abusive relationship but they are the only ones to my knowledge.

Have you had to have any debt written off?

Getting your debt wiped off should be a last result. You can kiss goodbye to getting any form of credit within the next 7 years as it’ll completely nuke your credit score. At least here in the UK anyway. Never had to get it wiped personally
