I believe you heard of this saying before. If you are good, people will hear of you, of you are bad, people will still hear of you but if you are none of that, you are a complete mystery on the market. Can business owner use bad marketing (reputation his company has) and turn that into his benefit?
Good example of this is when you have many haters speaking of Andrew Tate and all he need to do is to have his own podcast and get rich on his haters because people love listening answers.

Bad marketing is good as long as you have the funds and reputation to push. For example, Tate is a billionaire that has preached about patriarchy and never shy away from those talking down on him. Rather, he used it to his greatest strength. So, even in business, it is very important to analyse what will you do when people or the market talk about about you or your business.

Well, it can only be regraded as good only when it brings you positive results. If it kills off your business reputation, I don't think anyone is going to consider it as being good in any way.
