Assets Vs. Liabilities: What’s the Difference

Assets are the properties you have that make you money either actively or passively. Liabilities are what you own that takes away money from you. Examples of assets are land and stocks. Liabilities can be luxury cars, expensive gadgets. One makes money for you, the takes away money.
