It’s better to know sooner than later if the collaboration is workable. Here are some questions to ask yourself: Is the problem the person, work, or the budget? Since most people don’t change, is there some way you can modify your behavior? Negotiate from a place of compromise. For example, I understand and respect your position but I feel differently. Let’s find a third way that can work for both of us.
