As a new driver seeking insurance, understand your coverage needs and state requirements. Research different insurers, comparing rates and customer reviews. Factors like age, vehicle type, and driving record affect premiums. Consider optional coverage like roadside assistance or rental car reimbursement. Ask about discounts for good grades or completing driver safety courses. Be honest when providing information to insurers for accurate quotes.

Each country is different to when it comes to car insurance. In the UK, atleast, you get "discount" on your insurance policy if you don't claim each year. So one year without claiming would give you 1 year NCB (no claim bonus) which is roughly about 15% off. Then if you can get another a year without a claim, you get further discount.
