How many staff is too much for a small business? - Heatman - 10-28-2023

Have you ever thought of the right number of staffs that's enough generally for a small business? If you have a small business that you're managing right now, how many staffs do you have and how many do you think is going to be too much for your business?

It would depend on cash to pay them, especially if they wanted decent or above average salaries. I mean, there's only so much budget, so how can that possibly not matter? Anyone agree or disagree?

The number is always dependent on how big my business is. I have always maintained not less than 3 staff members at a time and it is always because of the jobs that are needed to be done in the farm. So, I try to keep up to 4 or 5 workers at a time.

When I first started, I tried to do everything myself to save on salary, and then when the profit became bigger, I was able to hire one employee. But in my opinion, when you have 5 people working and you simply don't even have such a profit, how will you be able to pay them salaries.
