What were your options when starting your business? - Smokey - 10-01-2023

What were the options you were toying with when starting a business?  For me, it was graphic design & web design. I tried starting a business back in college but I quickly decided not to bother as I was still learning a lot of the stuff at the time and I just never bothered to try starting it up again. In today's economy and climate, I don't know how lucrative it would be if I'm honest and my interests have since changed when it comes to web development.

What sort of businesses were you thinking of starting up before you started yours? Do you still have your business? How is it working out for you today as opposed to when you started?

When I started, I just lived in my own world and I didn't really care about everything that I thought was impossible to break in real life. For example, I wanted to buy a food truck and put it near a popular supermarket or shopping center, but it turned out that even for a lot of money, these centers do not want to sell space on their territory, and I had to come up with a lot of new things.
