Avoiding Bank Account Hack - Heatman - 06-13-2024 Scammers will always be doing everything possible to make sure that they have access to your account. One of the ways they usually do it is by calling you and telling you that your account is having some challenges. You're supposed to forward a code that you're going to receive in your phone number or your email so that they will use it and set up the security of your account. Don't ever make the mistake of doing this because the moment you give them that code, they will have access to your account and clear your money completely. I agree, the text message that my bank sends me even states not to give the code to anyone, including the staff of the bank. I also make sure I choose complex passwords which are different to my other online profiles. |
