Have You Thought of Tool Rental Business
Posted by: kobbydavies - 01-12-2024, 12:48 PM - Forum: Small Businesses - Replies (1)

Tool rental. There is some investment but not that large. Start small and grow organically. The margins are crazy - people will pay 20% of the cost (or more) to rent for a day or two. After 5 times pure profit and cash flow. you basically sell the same tool over and over. Customers just don't want to store it and so will pay for access. You can easily check this by visiting tool rental outlet and ask then how much to rent and compare to cost.
Suggested tools mitre saw, compressors, leaf blowers, tillers, lawn edgers, tree trimmers, cement mixers and on and on. ... Anything in your market that is medium size and seasonal.
Get a damage deposit.
Also movie companies look for props and will rent for 50 % of cost...
When inventory is semi worn out or dated just blow it out at 25 % of new.

A great business idea to start off with nearly Rs. 1,000 is ultra-short temping services. As a part of this business, the companies provide manpower services on a temporary basis to event management firms. The break-even period for this business is close to 10 months and a gross profit of approximately 20 percent can be expected. An important skill needed to make this business a success is networking. Organizing private tuitions is yet another excellent business idea to earn a handsome income with an investment of Rs. 1000. You can plan to be a private tutor by grabbing adequate knowledge about a particular subject. All you need to do is occasional investments associated with the purchase of new books in case there is a change of syllabus.

What are some good businesses that can be started with a very small capital?
Posted by: kobbydavies - 01-12-2024, 12:42 PM - Forum: Small Businesses - No Replies

Completely anecdotal but I started my last venture with ZERO capital. That's right, zero dollars. And honestly, if my lazy, dumbass can do it, so can you.
I stumbled across an idea that seemed genius to me. It was so revolutionary, I HAD to try it!
The idea? Foodperk! It was an online platform that allowed restaurants to offload any last minute food items at a heavily discounted price, rather than throw food away. Better some cents on the dollar than none at all.

Yes! it possible to start a business with no capital, but you have to take note of how low the profit outcome would be. Mostly you would have to be very focused on the business over several months to start yielding reasonable amount of profit. I could possibly suggest such business you can start with no capital....

  1. selling out a skill you have acquired over the years by coaching others
  2. making marketing researches and selling out data to larger business.

  Small businesses could be challenging
Posted by: Starmix - 01-11-2024, 06:30 AM - Forum: Small Businesses - No Replies

if you do not believe that small business could be challenging, why not try? I have a small milk tea business and am proud to say it gives me a good profit. I acquired it through franchising. It is not hard. I spent only $1,500 capital. I saved first and after saving much, I decided to choose a milk tea-selling business. I got this idea from a forum site that discussed businesses and investments. I am planning to open a new branch this year. I have to hit my goal, which is to save more and invest more. What about you?

Common businesses like grocery stores or clothing shops might seem boring, but they can be profitable, especially if established in areas lacking such services. Expand to new localities once your business succeeds.
There are many such business ideas that you can try, they are highly saturated yet you can still make money because they sell products that are always in demand, for instance, essentials.
